CHARDHAM YATRA 2023 EX HARIDWAR- 11NIGHTS/12 DAYS
Itinerary: - HARIDWAR (2N) - YAMUNOTRI ENROUTE (2N) – GANGOTRI ENROUTE (2N) – KEDARNATH ENROUTE (1N) – KEDARNATH JI (1N) - DEVPRAYAG (1N) - Badrinath (1N) - Rudraprayag (1N)
Day 1: Arrive in Haridwar –
Arrive at Haridwar and reach the hotel by yourself our hotel is half km away from the railway station. Check in to the hotel after some rest in the evening attend Ganga aarti at 6:30 pm at har ki Pauri brief dinner overnight stay.
Day 2 - Arrival Haridwar - Barkot (210kms/7-8hr)
After breakfast proceeds to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. En-route visit Kempty fall. Upon arrival check-in into the hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel at Barkot.
Day 3 : Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot (42 Kms & 5 Kms Trek) Each side
Morning leaves for Jankichatti via Hanuman Chatti & Fool Chatti. On arrival Janki Chatti starts a Trek of 06 km for Yamunotri, On Arrive Yamunotri Holi Dip in Garam Kund, than Pooja and Darshan of Shree Yamunotri Ji, after Darshan and Pooja, afternoon start trek back to Janki Chatti on arrival Janki Chatti meet with the driver and drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 04: Barkot - Uttarkashi (100kms/4hr)
Drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Vishwanath Temple & Others. Check-in Hotel. Rest day at leisure. Night Halt. Uttarkashi - Uttarkashi is a small and beautiful town, situated between two rivers; Varuna and Ashi, whose water flows into the Bhagirathi from either side of the town. Elevated, at a height of 1588 meters, this little town is very similar to Kashi and Varanasi, in that it has the same kind of temples and ghats and likewise, a north or 'Uttar' facing the river.
Day 05: Uttarkashi – Ganganani- Gangotri – Harsil – Uttarkashi (120Kms / 05 hrs.) round trip
After breakfast & post Tea/ Coffee leave for Gangotri early in the morning. Offering prayers & Pooja darshan, later drive back to Uttarkashi, en route visit Gangnani & Harsil. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi-Sitapur (290 Kms/ 8-9 hrs)
Leave very early in the morning with a packed breakfast for an almost day-long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi. On your drive, you would pass through Ganga giving way to Tehri Dam (The Hydro Electric Project). Overnight stay in the hotel at Sitapur/Guptkashi.
Day 07: Sitapur -Gaurikund - Kedarnath & back (19 Kms Trek One Side/ 6-7 hrs) or night stay at Kedarnath ji
Morning drive to Sonprayag -Gaurikund (03 km drive-one way). On arrival, Gaurikund starts your journey on the tough trek ahead. On arrival Kedarnath freshening up, perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnath Ji & back to Sitapur or overnight stay at Kedarnath ji.
Amidst the dramatic mountainscapes of the majestic Kedarnath range stands one of the twelve 'Jyotirlingas' of Kedar or Lord Shiva. Lying at an altitude of 3584 mts on the head of river Mandakini, the shrine of Kedarnath is amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus.
Day 0 8 : sonprayag to rudraprayag via chopta (80 km/ 2-3 hrs.)
Early Morning breakfast drive to after it Rudraprayag night stay.
Day 09: Rudraprayag via Joshimath to Badrinath (160 kms / 6/7 hrs)
The morning after breakfast proceed to Badrinath via Joshimath, (Narsimha Temple, Shankaracharya Math) Badrinath. Evening Darshan & Pooja at Badrinath temple. Overnight stay at Badrinath
Day 10 : Badrinath – Pipalkoti – devprayag - ( 220 kms/6-7hr)
Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the TaptKund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). Just within the three km of Badrinath Ji. Late morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh en route visiting Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag, Nandprayag devprayag overnight stay at devprayag. Vishnuprayag where two river confluences Dhauli Ganga & Alaknanda, Karnprayag (confluence of river Pindari and river Alaknanda) Rudraprayag (confluence of river Mandakini and Alaknanda River). We can also visit evening Aarti at Maharudranath Temple. If time permits, we can also visit Koteshwar Mahadev. O/N stay in devprayag.
Day 11: devprayag – Rishikesh - Haridwar – (95 km/03 hr)
After breakfast drive to Haridwar en route visit, Rishikesh (Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula, Gita Mandir). After sightseeing proceeds to Haridwar overnight stay.
Day 12 - Haridwar
After breakfast at 11:00 am drop you at the railway station according to schedule.
